History of Old Cutters
The Old Cutters subdivision is built on land that formerly housed the Cutter's barn. Cutting horses were boarded and trained on the property. A cutting horse is one who is trained to "cut" a young calf out of a herd for branding. Many national champion cutting horses lived and trained on the Cutters property in Hailey.
The streets in the Old Cutters subdivision are named after famous nationally ranked Cutting horses. The names of the cottage lots are also famous Cutting horses.
